Very glad you're still with us Joker. A month ago hombre is posting the scales on your endeavors with the beast and now...well you know where you're at. Was it worth it?
Hell yes. It was just bad luck, or an inconsiderate farmer to be precise. I thought it was my fault for opening the throttle too aggressively. After consulting witnesses it turns out the road was covered in as couple of inches of mud with no warning signs posted.
I was doing 60 and accelerating along a short straight on a country lane. The rear span up and stepped out to the left. As I shut the throttle and steered into the slide it gripped and flipped me off the high side with the bike landing on its left and sliding.
As soon as my wrist can stand me pulling the clutch in I'll be back out there, maybe a bit more carefully............................................ initially. Then it's back to ride it like ya stole it again.
