Years ago Dad had Buster. Buster was a Boston with one eye kicked out in the cowbarn. Buster would grab the lip of a metal coffee can and toss it in the aire. He would stuff his head into it upon its fall. As long as he got a round of applause hed keep it up. He was a ham for attention. He would immediately attack any neighbor dog, even if 10X his size, if it would get the attention that Buster thought was his due. He was vicious, and must have been the reason he started out his career/life with two eyes as the weapon against barn rats.

I got a line on fresh rubbers. Thanks for the insight. Chaparral.com has both for $391 in hand. I will go back to the lighter side this time around to see what benefits are with an Avon Cobra rear, but likely continue with another Dunlop E3 front. I sure wish Bridgestome would commit their DTC (Dual Tread Compound) for the Rocket III Standard and '07 Tourer.

It wasnt my intent to suggest a Flea Market atmosphere. Just keepin 'em in the inside circle. They were first in the hands of the janitor before I took ahold.

Having a dog would just cut down on my Rocket Bling fund,
so it's probably best anyway.
At least till I get her just the way I want her.
I haven't heard from the guy doing my tank in a week or two now....
Of course, I haven't heard from the machine shop either...
I should have made contact this weekend,
but it was just to pretty, I had to ride instead of visit.
a rocket "beauty" contest huh?
Well that's one I won't worry about, cause mine is "different",
but I don't think of my bike and "pretty" in the same sentence.

Agree with you skip the Rocket and good looks should not be used in the same sentance, it is one of the ugliest bikes ever produced and anyone who thinks otherwise should have an eye test.
