Having put a quick shifter on our Street Triple, I gotta agree. That would be very nice, although you may as well hand your license in when pick the bike up. Switchable mapping sounds good but seriously, how many are ever going to opt for the 'soft' modes even when common sense should kick in?

True but I was just thinking of ideas to differentiate it from the bog standard R3's to make it worthy of the "special" tag. I freely admit to lacking imagination

the x looks badass for sure but im going with the shiny roadster with the red stripes come this winter. this is the last summer on ole red, and she has been a sweetheart, i must say. 11 years on her

I saw one and think it looks great. I'd buy one in a snap if i was looking for a roadster.
