Rocket wont start ???

I believe it's under the battery box and a pita to get at......are you sure it's a relay problem. Is it not turning over or is the bike completely dead..... the main fuse can cause issues and they are notorious for having loose battery connections

Hay
I hear the relay clicking, but it doesn't start the starter, when I press the ignition button several times it turns and lights up. So the battery is ok! It's obviously the start relay?

I would not assume the battery is ok. I've read about a lot of starting issues on the forum down through the years and 90% of the time it comes down to the battery or the connections. The lights may look good, but it's the ECU not having enough voltage. They are fussy!

OMG...5 years?!! Replace it! Mines goes to recycling after 2-3 just on principle. Some people disagree, but it's just sickening in when it won't start and it boils down to the battery. My batteries are always on a maintainer if they are going to be setting for more than a few days. I don't trust them beyond 3 years. They are not like a car battery where you can expect 5 to 6 years.

i am guessing that you are hearing the starter solenoid
i am thinking that you are not getting enough voltage to the starter to crank the motor all the time.
check battery voltage while trying to start
like what was said battery needs to be tight.
or bad battery
how old is battery?
