Hi is there any specific reason for the change from The header design Les had? Or is it the only way that it will fit the roadster?
Cheers Pete
The design criteria is the same just the packaging is different to fit the Roadster, the master cylinder height, position etc is way different compared to my Classic......

On the Carpenter pipe there is a kit to fit the Roadster. 2 half inch spacers, and a couple of longer bolts. Instead of redesigning the pipe, the master cylinder gets pushed out a half inch.

i maybe interested in that exhaust if the price is right if no one is in front of me for it ?
Your first in line Dave, as I said I'm not sure have to wait and see if I'm happy with the new C.E.S. headers and pipe. My guess is I will be. I will be discarding my PC5 if Fred from Moss street dyno say's it isn't needed for him to tune my bike.

He will tell you to get rid of it as he can tune with out it....

After reading threads about other systems and seeing some fitted. My main brief with Trevor was this system must fit be neat and need no modifications or grinding to any part of the bike. He assured me that would be easy to achieve once we moved the collector forward up ontop of the crankcase. This gets away from the three pipes having to fit down through where there isn't much room.

Now this would be a something I have not seen with after market pipes yet. I must admit I love the power of the Carpenter pipe but I did have to mess with it a bit as well as with the Predators. I see the Rebands suffer from the same fault. The only Pipe I have bought that came with great custom heat shields is the predator everthing else either has to be made custom or do with what you can find. I will also admit I have not seen a better can then the megahone for increasing power. I ofter bust IMFASTTOO's arse about wishing I had a tripple megaphone set up like the OEM pipes. It maybe just me but I like the triple theme. I also figure I can afford to lose a little power for the looks. I have four after market pipes and would consider a fifth if I could get something to match what I want. But it must have 2 inch ID headers. You can pass that on to the builders if you want. I figure my Predator pipe might end up as a mail box post unless some one else wants it :D

Suppose to meet with yet another exhaust guy tomorrow... Will see if wants to make a set for the rocket with 2" headers...

A progress report. Got 28 inch length for all 3 headers. Trevor said another inch or 2 would produce a little more torque. Trevor said today that the single muffler won't produce much more torque than Les's 3 muffler set up but should produce more horsepower.

Nice legs. These pipes are the first mock up when Trevor gets them perfect he'll weld them up and make a jig to produce the actuall pipes. He has to shorten the front pipe about 1/4 inch to give 1/2 inch clearance from mesh guard and he is still playing with the middle pipe. I forgot to take a photo of the pile of discarded bends laying on the floor there was about 20. The peg rail may have to be unbolted and dropped down to allow fitment and then bolt back up. These pipes will be one piece welded collector and will not need any modification to any part of the original bike.
