Someone posted a link to a set of adapters allowing fitment of other types of mirrors. I thought it was in this thread but must have been mistaken. Does anyone recall that posting or what the source was?

Thanks...Owl. The other posting had an photo of the adapters but these certainly appear to be the ones. I have a set of Kuri oval mirrors in my parts bin that a friend gave me. I tried them on the Harley but with the long stems, they vibrated too much, even with a rubber mounted engine. The Rocket runs so smoothly though that I think they'll work fine.

I have these... You can also get them without the turn signal leds.. You need the metric adapter also...

Capt C. That is one of the pairs of mirrors I have in my Harley junk box. A friend with an aftermarket shop gave them to me. They are the ones I tried on my Electra Glide...I think they will be fine. I ordered the adapters and will install the mirrors as soon as they arrive. Lake Tahoe here I come and I be stylin' out!

Little tip for 'loose mirrors'
The standard mirror is locked in place by a piece of tin in a hole :x
If you have loose mirror syndrome (high speed run blows the mirror off line) cut a shim from a beer can, insert in the mirror socket, fit mirror stem & retighten bolt.

I can't see too much in these mirrors but I like the style. They remind me of old door pillar indicators from an old moggy car 8)
