Pull the mirrors out and check the round sleeve. Once the bolt is out, it should take some wiggling and a little force to pull out. If they come out easy, you most likely need new sleeves.
These are what I have run on my R3R for over five years.
They work well for me and provide signals with extra visibility front and rear.
They are not cheap, but well worth the investment to me and even survived my bad crash a few years ago.
They also come in black if preferred.
Not cheap? Wow. $250.00. They look almost as nice as the ones on my new Escalade. I just want clear mirrors that look like they belong on a Rocket. I may be wrong, like usual, but I am thinking I can find decent mirrors for $25-50.00.....?

With the right adapters you can put any Harley mirrors on your Rocket. There is a world of possibilities. I will agree the $50ish price point is wishful thinking though.
