Rocket 3 R storm seat fouling on negative battery terminal

Heres my tab. I'm not to worried about it. I can rivet a piece of aluminum if I have to.

Hi , Thanks for reply - the underside of the front seat tab has a fin shape to it and it is this fin that is damaged by contact with the negative terminal when removing and fitting and fitting the seat - You might want to check yours for damage ? Thanks Mark
I take my words back,

its not good to have terminal installed like that, STUPID F*** DEALERS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. I need to move my negative terminal to side ways now as there is plastic damage on the seat tab over these years because of terminal,

Hi - seems to be a common issue this - Dealers fitting negative terminal to top instead correctly to the side of terminal !! Triumph should take some responsibility for not ensuring All Triumph Dealers are aware of this issue - Maybe if everyone affected complained to Triumph Aftersales they might do something !! Probably Not 😀😀 Cant see Triumph dishing out the new seats somehow !!! 😀😀😀
