Hi I’m in need of some advice. I’ve replaced my stock exhaust for some Dominator exhausts. My quest Is. Do I have to get the bike retuned now ie remapped or a power commander 6 added and set up. It is a Rocket 3 GT. many thanks.

What year is the bike? I always thought Dominators were a nice exhaust option. Any pics?.....My guess is that the ECU will adjust air/fuel enough. But if your bike is stock, they usually benefit from a tune just to get rid of limits and restrictions.

From what I've read if you only change the slip on exhaust you will be fine running stock but as rick said, a tune is only going to help. If its not a storm you can install a penner tune using tune ECU app and obd mx+ bluetooth reader.

The dominator is one of the better sounding and looking exhausts IMO. I probably would have got them if I didn't get a used set of werkes pipes.

Did you install the db killers? How much louder is it than stock on a scale from... the same <-> to loud AF?

Edit: According to their website it's 106db - 2 to 4db with the "db killers"

If you did a full exhaust system, meaning the cat and OEM headers are gone then you need to retune. If it is a slip on then you are fine.

I had a BT moto tune on my bike when it was stock. When I did a full exhaust and DNA filter, they sent me a new tune.
