Roadster test ride today

My daughter and I took a drive today and took a new Roadster for a test ride. Here are some observations.....

1) It feels like a much lighter bike than it actually is.
2) It handles better, steers better and corners better than my
Touring.
3) Its fast

Here is a video of me in the parking lot with the Bike, If you look closely you'll see the shoelace of my boot caught on the foot peg causing me a little grief....

The one problem I do have is that my right foot (due to my accident last year) will not reach the brake pedal, the shop has offered to modify that for me for two hours labor ( see pic )

My daughter has her heart set on a Speedmaster for her 16th birthday.....



I love the bike, my only concern is the brake pedal issue,

anybody have any thoughts on modifying the brake?

I did not know they made lace up cloth M/C boots that look like a tennis shoe

I am sure it would not be to hard to drill and tap to add an extension / offset to the brake

If there is a will there is a way...
 
She wants the bike for her sixteenth???

Will you have enough money left over after you buy the shotgun??????
 
Can't be that hard to put a larger brake pedal on there. Maybe have a look at a Harley dresser brake pedal. Seriously mate bike boots !!! .. you're lucky you didn't go arse over getting a shoelace snagged like that.

You look as giddy as a school girl on prom night.

I guess you'll look down at the rest of us guys with touring rockets now. The guys you use to be chummy with are a fleeting memory.

Don't worry the guys with the heavy, fat, slow Rockets still love you.

And before you start modifying anything
I'd buy some shoes without laces.....Just bustin balls Enjoy it!
