Had a slight ground clearance problem going up Mt Mee on Sunday.You know what I said about folding the footpeg up untill the peg rail touches up the front. Well ignore that because I'm an idiot. With a bike in Team Moto with the left side ground of it a wife with the skin off the palm of her hand and I got a busted rib. Now I know were the edge is I must step back a bit.

I pulled the gear lever away from the motor and rode it back down to Woodford ambulance to get Julies hand patched up. Then rode home. Needs front guard clutch lever , tank ,bearclaw, front blinker,footpegrail, footpeg, gearlever and linkages sidecover, tin cover of rear footpeg bracket, seat got scuffed up, rear footpeg, radiator is pushed back with chrome cover ground off it. The assesor said they will probably repair the tank as it only has gravel rash the size of 10 cent peice.

Glad it wasn't more serious - altho a mishap like that with the missus on the back should be avoided for a whole lot of reasons, which I'm sure you don't need reminding of. Take it easy mate.

Didn't think I was that close to the edge. First thing Julie said as we sprang to our feet like adrenalin charged 18 year olds was what caused that. We were on our own having a quiet sunday ride up the mountian for a coffee at Daybora.
