Road Noise

Rocket GT 3 2020
hi All, new here and to the new Rocket GT, had it a couple of weeks. I have noticed a lot of road noise and although the bike is only 7000 miles old (second hand purchase) i was worried it was a wheel bearing or even drive shaft issue. However i have now noticed that when i ride over new tarmac the noise goes away. We have a lot of older roads here in North Wales so i figure this is just tyre noise? Has anyone else noticed the same
 
Pretty hard to evaluate sounds by a verbal description, but if it changes or goes away when road surface changes, then yes, it's just tire noise.
 
I agree with @Tripps... & WELCOME! to our R3 Family... Where living with a new "Perma-Grin" is the price of admission Any photos?
