i have had stuff sent from the States take three days to land here then take a week to clear customs and get to me .... I only live 4 1/2 hours south of Sydney, go figure yet the other day I ordered some archery gear from South Aust (2 days drive away)and it took only 3 days !!!

Sent shocks to Australia left Florida okay left Los Angeles okay landed in Australia okay now quite a few weeks later they are on the pony express somewhere in Australia I think Ned Kelly has nicked them.

Mate Australia Post is that slow it nearly runs backwards , takes a good week for a letter to travel from Melb to Brisbane..........

They must have been trained by the USPS then because we definitely have the slowest. Amazingly tho if you pay a few dollars more for Priority it ships at the same speed it did years ago without Priority!

We have the same thing here.
I can send a parcel by "International Courier" 2-3 days delivery as opposed to 5-10 with "Air frieght International" higher cost of coarse, but I was told that it goes on the same plane outa here !

I suppose that's the ONE good thing about living in Hawaii, you get everything airmail, regardless of cost to ship as all mail comes on planes which run twice daily.

Not. I've sold a bunch of stuff recently, shipped USPS, always arrives promptly.

Mail sent in the state to anywhere else in the state nearly always arrives the next day. **** good service, and an outlet in every town.

If you really want to b***h try using FedEx or UPS for everything, and see what a bargain the good ol' USPS is.

I heard fed ex and ups are going to merge into one company and call it Fed-up/maine must be a small state takes 2 days in state mail here

I've had a letter going from the east coast of Florida to the west coast of Florida take 10 days. Most everything flies these days WTF?

Many years ago I had a Guy in the us send me a personal check to pay for an Exhaust System, I thought "this is not going to work"
I went to the Bank with it anyway just to see if it was worth anything.
They told me it would have to be sent back to the US, that it was going to cost me a zillion $ and that it would take six weeks to send it back !
I asked if they had ever heard of "Aero Planes" ???
I then asked if there was any other options, "No I HAVE to do it this way"

Get real, (not quite the words I used) forget it !

I rang the Guy and had him do a direct deposit.
I now realise that the "Sheeple" have been around for years.
