Replacing headlights

Hello Rocketeers,
Will be installing the LED headlights today.
Those who have them, what did you do with the
little park lights under the main bulb. I hear if you
remove them they pop a fuse.

Curious what brand are you installing?

I cut the parking lamp fitting off and wire them into my halo ring. That way I can still use the park light position on the ignition switch to hbd light at night to see things without high current drain. If you don’t have that option make sure you tape over terminals do they can’t short out and tuck behind LED lamp unit at back of bucket

I wired mine into my halos also, so they still function.

So, I cut them off, then tape the wires so they can't short?

Either cut and tape wires or remove parking bulb from its lamp holder and slide a piece of plastic the same width in the parking bulb holder so that the two contacts can not touch each other.
