Rear Tire Keeps Deflating!

If I understand correctly, two consecutive tires did this, so it's undoubtedly the rim or valve, Triumph at one time was known for porous castings that sweated oil, could be something along that line, a flaw in the rim. Dish soap solution as someone said, sprayed on, really should show it up.

UPDATE!!!

Just wanted to update everyone. I took it to the dealer....Cracked Rim. The tires are fine, and yes it is tubeless. Without even telling them they did the soapy water spray test. We both looked at it. One spray and we saw the bubbles.

Thank God I have the Tire & Wheel insurance, plus the Rim is in stock, we checked. So we're going to replace the Rim, I'm going to call them Monday to start the claim and get them on the phone with Triumph. I live in New York City, full of pot holes, and from my memory I believe I know the pot hole that did it.

Anyways, I still have a lot to learn about motorcycles, the more problems that occur the more I learn about the bike and fix it, so thank you all for your wisdom. I'm just glad I know what the problem is, and just to be a little extra safe, I'm gonna have them replace the valve, mine as well at this point. Cracked Rim...SOB! HAHA!!

I will in addition to the Rim! :)

I bought a bunch of stuff off a guy I met at the Bennington Bash, he totalled his Touring on a pothole hidden by rain, Boston, or maybe NY, I forget. Broke off the engine boss where the crash bar or front attached, I think.

It costs a couple of $$$ dollars to replace the valve stem. I ALWAYS change with a new tire. No exceptions.
If you're running the 240 rear you will need a new O-ring for the valve stem any time you dork with it. I rotated mine for easier access to inflate and the O-ring got cut. Keep some spares if you replace the stems cuz they damage easily and its a PITA to do it with the tire mounted. Just sayin....
