Wow $107.00 dollars just for the filter? Really seems kind of expensive. No better price i have no options but to pay. My filter is shot after cleaning a few times. Plus it has a rubbed mark from the bear claw on the foam. My fault did not have the bearclaw installed correctly or a screw or two:eek::eek::eek: came loose. Go figure. If someone has found a better price please let me know.

How many miles between cleans are you giving it? - purely out of interest. Do you use RAMAIRS "goo" or oil?

Use the Ramair products. Have about 30,000 mile on the filter and it ain't looking to good. I think I have cleaned it three times.

Interesting. I have about 10K on this one and it still looks clean. I originally had the very first prototype on my beast and that was only ever cleaned once. tbh I wanted to keep the original but RamAir insisted on upgrading me.

The reason I asked about the oil was that I have a custom ITG filter (The RamAir predecessor) and that uses ITG filter oil - It is basically filthy even when freshly cleaned and oiled.

I’m interested in going the Ramair route, better breathing etc. I’ve seen a very good vid on fitting one, so no real issues there - my question to existing users is - what is the induction noise like with one fitted?
Had a zx9r a few years ago - great sound from the air box . Also, I like the standard Roadster exhaust sound - not loud but with pops and rumbles on the overrun, so I’m not fussed on changing it. Or does someone have a compelling argument for change (gas flow match to new filter, less weight, ???)

Hello. Ramair and Paul's three into one is music to my ears. Plus a lot more grin factor. :whitstling::whitstling::whitstling::whitstling::whitstling: Not that much into the technical aspect but do enjoy the ride:cool::cool::cool::cool::cool::cool:

Who is Paul ? Bike owner , exhaust maker , both ? Just listened to new exhaust video on here. Great sound
but not what I’m looking for
