Just fitted a RAM AIR kit..... dyno tomorrow.... what are the for's and again's regarding a power commander???? advice please....

If you use a good Dyno tuner they should be able to do it all in the main ECU so no need for a power commander, have you got exhaust mods also ??

There are plenty of good tuners who don't use TuneECU or Tuneboy to dyno tune. If you can find a tuner who who uses TuneECU or Tuneboy (which costs just to use it), you could do that. You need to open the secondaries anyway with one of those programs. If you can find a good tuner who uses Power Commander only, do that. You can get good results either way.

Silly question: where does one find "good tuners" ? Is there one of these within, say, 100 or 150 miles of the Washington Monument, for example ?

Try going online under m/c tuners ,dyno tuners m/c dyno tuners hope this helps.

More. You can't depend on calling tuners to find the good ones.

They had a list on the rat forum, but it wasn't much good, either they didn't do it anymore, or people had unsatisfactory experiences. Not sure why, but Bob Carpenter uses Tuneboy plus PC.

There is a list posted with the Tune ECU site.
Open up and click the British flag for English,
At the left margin, click on "Links".
Page down - toward the bottom you shall see "Commercial websites".
Looks to me like "Eurosports in Coppersburg, PA" is your closest.

If Carpenter will do it, go there.
