I flagged you because I was looking for you to opine regarding if the OEM radiator brazing would be as strong as the heliarc aluminum radiator I just bought?
 
Gave it. Weld over braze any day. The bars and parting sheets between the fins are brazed on the core. Usually in a build of such nature the hardware and caps are brazed on after the fact (CORE) Which means the original core braze is heated again in a oven which no matter how good you are core is weakened. By welding the caps and hardware on it is a good build. Quality stuff.

Thanks Steve. Checked this supplier out and they refuse to send to UK from USA. BUT...they also have an ebay shop in the .co.uk site. Price is sort of comparable at £225.00. Book marked and messaged them regarding fitment. Once again, thanks for your help.

If my radiator went south I would replace it with the one you bought vice the stock.
 

The new rad is installed!
Rob @Claviger did the work and will post some pix of the rad mounted before and after the cover mount.
Rob did a "field-pressure test" of the new rad (a mouth to inlet blow job) of the new rad - no problems - no leaks.
The @hogweed stainless cover fit perfectly at the top two mounts, but required some elongating of the four side mount holes - easy peasy.

$270 for a lighter aluminum rad versus the $614.48 OEM is a no brainer IMHO.

The company I purchased from sell a can of black hi-temp paint . . .
I don't see the matter, considering the cover over it.
My new rad is so pretty, I hesitated to install the cover . . . for just a minute.
 
Radiator pics.

I will be buying one, after fitting Steve’s I’ll buy one and keep my second as a backup. These China radiators won’t available forever so, I’m just going to grab one now.

The radiator successfully brought the coolant temp down from 99 to 92 on a warm summer day pretty effectively. The cap provided is a 1.1 bar and works as it should, it allowed expanding coolant to flow out and return.

Sure it may not be a 100% OEM perfect fit, but, for the significant price saved and what seems to be stronger construction, I’ll take that.
 
To add, I did not try to fit the stock covers, so i cannot report as to their figment because the cover used doesn’t require as many Mount points.

The mounting points to the bike were accurate though and it feel at least as solidly held in place as stock.

Makes me look skinny - reckon I'll put the bearclaw in the bath for my morning grooming.
 
Rob, you'll have to give us a step by step guide to how you fitted this, shrouds and all. You keep forgetting that there are an awful lot of us that simply do not have the ability or intellect to carry out your 'simple' tasks..!! I suppose the alternative is, you could come and fit it for me on your upcoming World Tour of Rocket tuning
