RAA III Lodging & Other Info

Good Fellow

Either way I guess. I was looking at 2 routes into Eurika, (seams there is no direct root) but for the most part I was heading straight up 59 which is for the most part 70mph, have to slow threw the towns. I have a lease in Nacogdoches and I do that run in 3 flat in a cage.

Either way I was hoping to hit Eurika some time Friday.
So we can do Texarkana Thursday stay oevr with the other groups and ride the ramander 6 into Eurika
Or head out early Friday Morning and do one shot 10-12 hours.

Open for suggestions just let me know what you think.
Also what day did you want to leave??

If I can leave thurs, I might try to meet you all in Texarkana. Tyler is too far east for me (3hrs). Texarkana is out of the way but not as much. I'd like to come into AR. in the Rocket parade:D. If I went the way Rand Mcnally said I'd go straight up 69 (love that #). But who wants to ride alone if you don't have to.

fly rod inn

roni & i are booked at the fly rod inn. i spoke to debbie, and she says they're filling up pretty fast:eek:. just thought i should let you guys know.....

I hope it's warmer in September than it is now. Last night, we had a frost. I had to hastily make a cold frame so my pre-started veggies didn't get frostbitten. I still haven't filled the pool and next weekend is memorial day.

Somehow, with the price of gasoline climbing like it is, I don't see how this will be a big trip season for cagers, so despite the owners of the places in Eureka Springs saying they are filling up, I suspect there will be a lot of cancellations. People aren't going to venture too far from home with a guzzling cage at 4+ per gallon, so the whining kids can spend money in some tourist trap. People, in general, are buckling down, spending less and staying around home.

less cages= good thing

that's a good thing flip. lessens the chance of a captain getting run over. also, would you be inclined to bring two more handle bar clamps of the 1 1/4" variety? i would like to pay cash,if that's ok with you?:D

Cash is king, well, used to be king anyway. If you want them for sure, I'll have to run them. Just send me an e-mail on the web address. sales@flipmeisters.com

I would like some front brake cable clamps in either black or gold. Any ideas.

I could theroitically run a set in HRS and then Parkerize them or, have them gold plated. 303 isn't plate friendly nor will it Parkerize well.

If, I ran a set in HRS and Parkerized them, the finish would be satin black. Parkerizing is what shooters refer to as 'gun blue'. It's a hot mineral salt bath.

I could have offered them in 6000 series aluminum, like the handlebar clamps, which, anodize well but I prefer the finality and stability of 303. The stainless clamps will outlast the bike.
