Yes, excellent. Variable control instead of too high and too low on the other Rockets.

Groover.

Hi Lester,

Never thought of that - heated grips on and not wear gloves <g>

Guess their is a certain logic though the high setting still is too hot with gloves (except when riding in the rain).

Groover.

It sounds like the factory heated grips will work for me. It's getting a bit cool here in Western North Carolina. I know that the Heated Corbin seat I installed is feeling pretty good these days.

I have long resorted to deer skin mittens when the mercury was headed below 40 but have nowadays turned to Crab Claw or Lobster Claw gloves. for example: Amazon.com: lobster glove

Mine are excellent, without additional liners, to 30F. Any colder and I slip in a second liner.

There has been a report or two about failures with the heated grips. I believe it was with burnouts. Perhaps the variable heat models for the more temperate climates won't suffer.

The Polar-Tex Tour Master gloves have sure been a dissappointment.

Hey I just got a set today after a frigid ride to get a service done they work great however the cost for the grips plus installation time had I known what it would have entailed I would not have purchased them, my only concern was the fact for 30 miles I could not feel my thumbs this morning made me get them 200$ plus about an hour and a half to install about 280$ total I would have tried to find a better way to keep warm now that its all said and done I almost have to love them
