I've had my R3T for 12 days now. I've only ridden 5 of those days. 1000 miles this morning !!!

This bike continues to impress me. I have since fitted the Long Haul dual seat with the backrest. I have also put on the Triumph front dresser bars with some Kuryakyn offset pegs. I've also installed the Auxiliary Light bar, and finally a Stebel air horn in the left side cover.

The handling on this bike is terrific. I seem to be taking turns / curves faster than I did on my VTX. Most likely this is due to the higher ground clearance. The floorboards were scraped down to near nothing on the VTX. I've only scraped the boards once on the Rocket, at about 55.

She's very smooth on the highway. Although I think I will save up for a Clearview screen that's a bit taller and wider. It only bothers me when it's very cold, or when I'm wearing a half helmet. This bike is also very quiet. On a recent ride, my friends pointed out that they could not hear my bike much when I launched it. Roll on full throttle, and it's very quiet.

I am still 'getting used to' the low speed handling. I really just need to go and practice in a parking lot. The weight is balanced well. I can certainly complete basic and emergency maneuvers, just not with the confidence I had previously. That will just take some time. No worries.

This bike is an awesome ride. I get people interested in it most every place I go.
It's nice to have something different and be proud of it.

And a thanks is due to all the helpful people here. I appreciate it.:D

It is an amazing machine that goes and handles like no other. Once you get the slow speed handling down which I did by taking some MSF courses and the Motorman's Ride like a Pro technique which will allow you to stay inside the inner lines on the Box. I'm due for a refresher to be sure will do it before it gets too hot. Hey Crazyman they got a Triumph store St. Pete way?

Make sure you change your tires between 3500 and 5000 miles, you will know when it is due...

The Bridgestones are under spec and starts de-laminating on the inside and it will feel like you are running on a flat with 25mph-45mph wobble...

Just a heads-up

I'm already thinking of doing a car tire for the rear. One like you've done, or some other one. I would like to find out if Metzeler makes a tire for the front. I've had very good results with their tires.

St. Pete Powersports.

I got my Rocket from EuroCycles of Tampa.

I went to the St. Pete Powersports this past October when the wife and I came down for our sons wedding, nice place and good folks there.
