When it's warm here (which is most of the time) I wear jeans, a tee shirt, boots, full helmet and gloves.

That's way more protection than the HD riders wear down here; generally consisting of shorts, a tee shirt, half gloves (to look cool, no doubt), flip flops, and a baseball cap on backwards.

But I must say, based on the posts of our more seasoned members; I'm giving serious thought to wearing more protective riding gear.
