I consider myself a good person, i work hard, pay my taxes, and love this country enough to become a citizen.Not god faring,but have most Christian beliefs and respect for others and their rights to choose.Why would the Govt harass me because I choose to ride a motorcycle on the few occasions I get? Where am I a threat? What is it they are afraid of? I can see the methods they are employing..create fear and predjudice amongst the general public.. declare it 'DANGEROUS' then slowly but surely, start eradication, they are successfully doing this to the Pitbull breed and now the great white sharks on the hit list.Add motorcyclists.Actually, I can now see what they are afraid of...tell me if i'm wrong but its because I HAVE AN OPINION. isn't it.

Heard that the cops threw 'everyone' out of the Vietnam Veterans clubhouse last night .. everyone !!! Because it's a licenced venue and 'motorcycle riders' were 'associating' there . The Vets were not named among the 26 clubs deemed to be criminal organisation. Excuse me if but this is far from a humorous turn of events.

Here they only ever seem to ride in pairs - unless it's a training in which case they're not in uniform.

I don't think it is the Abbott gov. maybe more state gov. diverting attention from themselves.
While they are declaring war against communists, terrorist, bikers or what ever, check your power bill, rates, insurance, or water bills.

mate I don't pretend to have some sort of inside knowledge .. just read what those in the legal profession and civil liberties organisations have to say about 'the big picture' .. I get sent emails of stuff that's been stated/claimed by these organisations as a lot of my mates are concerned /interested in what's going down at the moment.

I will try to set this up to you from my point of view....I am 67 yrs. old...I did my time in the military.....I worked public jobs for more than 44 yrs.
I worked in the industrial maintenance field 95% of my life. I paid in my first taxes in 1964....summer jobs and before that worked on a tobacco farm.

When I lost my job in 2007 I had a total earnings ( according to my Social Security statement) 1.3 Million dollars....not bad for a dumb ol country boy. In 2004 my wife and I were trying to buy this land and house I live at now....I had planned to pay 20% down and finance the rest...I figured I had 5 to 8 yrs to pay it off before I retired...BUT....during the 30 days before closing on this land and house ( 8.5 acres ) I had a heart attack, spent 5 days in ICU. After getting out of the hospital I re thought my plans on financing this place. I took nearly every bit of money in my 401 retirement money and paid cash for this place.

I lost my job in 2007 due to cutbacks in the economy......Who the heck is going to hire a 60 yr. old man with 3 stints in his heart and about $800.00 per month in medicine cost.......No One..I lived off of unemployment for 6 months....then out of my pocket for the next year and a half
My wife cleans other people houses for her living. I started drawing my SS in 2009...$1286.00 per month and no insurance until I turned 65...that is 5 yrs. with out Ins. I still have to pay taxes on the amount of money I get from SS. every year.

You would think I would be all for Obama Care ...........I am NOT!!!

As far as yearly income my wife and I would qualify to get into many Gov. assisted programs to help out with food, medical care and other programs.

Here is the catch...because I own this house and land..2 cars and 2 motorcycles all bought before 2006....I am disqualified from any Gov. Help program including Obama Care.

Now to the meat of this issue.....There are 12.5+ million illegal immigrants here in the USA....That is almost half the total population of your entire country. Most of them do not pay taxes and all get free health care NOW...They breed like rabbits and each child born here is an American citizen. The more children they have the more the Gov. assistance program pays out to each child. Some here are getting as much as $8000.00 per month just for the children they have.
No hospital can turn away anyone seeking health care here...The ones that pay for all of them are the people that has Ins. or owns anything the hospitals can go after in court...

The USA is in debt 17+ Trillion dollars now......47 cents out of every dollar the Gov. spends today is borrowed from foreign country's and that is just to support what our Gov. is doing today......My Grand children will still be paying this debt....if the spending would stop NOW...

How long do you think that America can survive like that .....being the worlds police man...fighting wars that we have our nose stuck into other countries business, paying countries( Billions) to be our friend that want to kill everyone of us and foreign aid to every country that has a problem.

Now we are going to provide health care to 25 million that does not pay taxes, work or own anything...or even gives a crap about anything but stealing, drugs, killing and living off the Government..

The Rich are getting richer....the Poor are getting poorer and the Middle class is trying to support the World....

I saw yesterday that the US economy is rocketing towards a budget surplus. That's right. A budget surplus. Not saying the problems aren't real but economically the US (Government) is in much better shape than most of us would have thought. The problem with illegals is not just the way they are treated by our countries - and we down here are way too soft on them too in spite of what the bleeding hearts keep saying - but the way the international community tolerates the treatment and conditions in their countries of origin that make people want to leave these sh#t holes. International aid needs to be tied to human rights and countries made to change. If civilised countries turn into the garbage dumps of the world and the goodwill of their citizens continue to be taken for granted there'll be nowhere for these so called refugees to go anyway.

Having said that, still can't see how Obama care has anything to do with what's going on here. We've had universal health care for decades and it was introduced without any threat to civil liberties. There were some minor rumblings from conservatives but that soon passed. The mindset that saw the need for a humane system and embraced it is actually an enlightened one and I can't see any link to the small fascist minds dreaming up the crap going on here now.

Answer.....some of the congress did not want to increase the national debt limit..... for the Gov. to borrow more money from other countries.

Obama Care is just not about national health coverage....it is all the other legislation and laws that went into effect when the bill passed...The sneaky crap that we still do not understand the affect it will have on us here.

If you want to see the Obama bill that passed look up Health care bill H R 3200....if you have a very fast computer it will take just a few hrs. to load it .

The similarities to here and there...IS...The sneaky laws and legislation that the Gov. will push through that is hidden by the main issue....like the bad 1% biker law that now has Vets and others not able to ride together or hang out in groups more than 3.....if I am correct.

How did folks survive before big ass government? Good folks helped them out - churches, doctors . . .
Please tell me ONE f*cking thing big government (yours or ours) has EVER done better, or even as well as private citizens???
We have $600 toilet seats, $200 hammers, $640 million software that private business could do for $1 million and on and on . . .
Has Government improved education?
Has Government helped or even lowered the number of poor?
Has government done ANYTHING but find ways to raise our taxes in order to support all their greedy kingdoms?
Except for the military, get government THE HELL OUT of our lives!
