Queensland Bikie Gangs

WTF. The dumb arse approach would be to demonstrate that the laws are justified.
And writing a letter? You can't be serious.

Who's saying the laws are justified? The approach is wrong.

Letter writing is a key plank for a number of direct action organisations. Google Amnesty International, it works. "The pen is mightier than the sword" seems to ring a bell.

Agree with the likes of Rosa Parks. Where is the clever direct action campaign by the Motorcycle Fraternity against these laws? They need a campaign that makes a difference not a mates motor bike rally on Sunday!!

Not directed at the individual but the action. It missed the mark.

You should intervene at the restaurant rather than take your meal to the empty park on Sunday and have a picnic with your family!!

"Bads things happen when good men do nothing!!"

*** me dead; another person who doesn't read what is written or think before he posts.
What, you reckon they should storm parliament or block traffic or incite civil unrest? Do you serious believe that a group of bikers getting involved in a way that could be labelled unlawful or led to a violent confrontation would actually help? The politicians and media would love it but it would be completely counter productive. .

Richard, You always start with a provocative intro?

Good to see you are thinking out side of the square.

Keep the suggestions coming we might even come up with a good idea.

This Newman sounds like a bad guy!

Where is it implied that violence or an unlawful act should be conducted in my posts or have I missed your point?

Now take a deep breath and actually read what I wrote.

Done that. Sound of air being expelled.........................

Your question is self answering and is correct in terms of the statement being that an unlawful act would be counter productive to Motorbike Riders.

I am not sure how you link my two abridged posts to this statement?

If that is your intent, you will need to spell it out for me it.

What I was saying was that doing something, no matter what the intention, that could be LABELLED (interpreted/misinterpreted) by others as being unlawful etc. Not referring to the act itself but how others might choose to use it against you. As I said, you need to read the words I used, not what you think i said.
