The shocks are delivered on the softest setting (full counter clockwise)
Then if you want to make them stiffer, you need to turn clockwise the upper cover by hand.
Don't count the turns, but look on the shock body.
As much as you turn the cover you will see the marks on the shock body appear just over the top of the cover.
For the setting you need to count these marks.
For me, with the standard spring (120 / 170 Lbs) and solo rides only (180 Lbs) I have the first mark visible and the shocks works great.
