Powder coated wheels.
Once in a while we get lucky and find someone who does great work at a great price. I had the wheels on my 07 Classic powder coated because the rear was becoming pitted.
The bike was in the shop for brakes at the time in NJ. This powder coater came from Pennsylvania, picked up the wheels, powder coated them gloss black with a gold stripe around the perimeters and did a PERFECT JOB!
All together price?...$320.00!...FOR BOTH WHEELS!
I highly recommend him! Dave Watermyer. I have no vested interest in this company.
You can ship him your work from anywhere.

Really beautiful, and not awfully far from me, I just picked up my TT600 from a guy not 40 miles from there a few weeks ago.

Here they are. They are done perfectly and have a clear powder coat as well!!
$320 with pickup and delivery.
The line between the gold and black is flawless and there are NO lumps or drips.
They look like factory items.

Sharp Zen I was thinking of getting mine annodized gold along with the intercooler radiator combo and Sc intake plumbing now this has me think even more towards it.

Thanks Scott and others.. What you cannot see in the pics is just what a perfect job he did!The mechanics at the shop who mounted them back on the bike all said it was the best job they had ever seen.
This guy will coat anything...not just wheels.
What I do not know is what temperatures the coating will hold up to but on his web site, there are coated valve covers, etc. so my guess is it is very heat resistant.
