Plug blank under seat?

Anyone know what this plug under the seat is for? It wasn’t obvious from the wiring diagrams and the maintenance manual only references the OBD-II port. Wondering if this has any usefulness.

Its for alarm (accessory) if you buy it from Triumph, then thats where it goes.

Ah, thanks. That means there is likely switched power to this plug as well and could run a relay. This is good to know.

Does it have looped wires? Will the bike run if it is disconnected?

well its always open/empty port, i think you have enable in ECU from dealership once alarm is installed.
 
Jay did you checked with multimeter?
Good news, it is switched. I found one of the leads is always hot and another one is switched. So it offers an opportunity to tie in for switching a relay or triggering a power block. Now to identify the brand and part code for the 8-port connector and pins. If anyone has better insights, please post here.
