PCV with Autotune Question

I was told by a Triumph dealer head mechanic not to blip the throttle. I was showing him that it would pop back through the throttle bodies. He said Triumph bikes just do not respond well to the blipping.
yeah in a conversation with Wayne Tripp he told me he could not tune it out it is just a rocket thing, before I stoped bliping it even backfired bad enought to stall the engine a couple of times... very embarassing while in traffic

Interesting, the only time I have experienced the backfire from the blip is after cruising at 2500 or 3000RPM and have to change down a gear but once I have been on and off the throttle a few times there is no more backfire blip.

yeah it is not a constant thing it is as you say under certain conditions

Its a 2010 Rocket Touring with TORS. The mechanic at Triumph put some kinda tune in and I'm sure it was factory OK'd. Thats all I've done. Should I do the tripple K&N's first?

Get the cable for TuneECU and download the program if you have not already. There are tunes available for the R3T with the setup you currently have and also with the trip K&N. The stock dealer tune will not unleash the power.

What mods have you done to your R3T? I have trip K&Na and TORS installed, as well as the PCV w/Autotune.

I am running the PCV map Hanso made and it seems to be working fine. It does seem to be adjusting for a lot more fuel in the low range; but it is doing what it should so I can't argue with it. Haven't got the cable for Tune ECU to load a new base map yet. Really need to do that I think.

If your mods are comparable to mine, would you be wiping to share your base map? I have found a few, but there don't seem to be many out there for the Touring.

Thank you!
