One of our R3 family down, but not out

Hope ol'mate recovers quickly. We don't bounce as well as we used too. Sad to see unfortunately have seen this before on group rides

Hello my fellow R3 riders!
A small but significant update as of 04 Dec 2020 . I had my physio, OT and Big ortho follow up. Orthopaedic specialist was very happy with my progress thus far. Follow up pelvis xrays and ankle x-rays look good and doc has okayed me for full weight bearing on my right ankle. Best news of all is that he's okayed cycling in 3 weeks!!! (in his words " stationary pushy only and do not go on the road. cos trees are dangerous!! will probably never live this one down!)
He said he was quite surprised and pleased with the recovery compared to the extent of injuries involved not too long ago. An MRI has been prescribed for my right leg and knee just to ensure no further damage to ligaments and tendons..but I was so glad to hear the update .Physio and OT appts were showing progress too with improvements in the degrees of my mobility. I am soldiering on pushing the pain threshold little by little further.I still have a bladder procedure due in mid December and hopefully after that I will be on the faster road to recovery.I want to thank each and everyone of you for your unwavering support, it means the world to me. I'm definitely mindful and grateful for this second chance at life.

Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a wonderful new year ahead.
Lots of love TATA4
