The only folk mentioning oil cooling are our positive pressure members. Is there anybody out there with info on oil cooling for the Rocket, including remote oil filters/coolers. It would be nice to send all that extra heat else were than up my pant leg.

Remote oil Filter/Cooler

You see these adapters advertised all the time for v8 and other applications. Just need to find someone with interest and machining skills.

The only extra heat I feel is at a stand still, and it comes from the exhaust log. I don't think an oil cooler would help there.

The only oil cooler I've seen on a Rocket was on a Japanese site, where they had the oil cooler mounted where the horn cover is on the fork legs, with braided lines going somewhere. I assume the went to an adapter behind the oil filter, like you stated.

While anything is possible, I can't imagine trying to connect to the return line to the oil tank.

A bypass would do the trick. Unfortunately there hasn't been a large enough voice.

I run a Scotts Permanent oil filter. It's ribbed for more pleasure; and, I'm sure it imparts a degree of cooling. I change my Amsoil every 9k and clean the filter at 3k. So far it's worked out well enough that I can run the 9k spent oil in my lawn equipment and several articles requiring long run dependability with no concerns.

"Is your wallet ready", that's what inquiring minds want to know.

Good god what an awesome ride!!! No doubt. Until that ugly oil cooler is introduced. Why not incorporate it somewhere in advance of the radiator without it being an afterthought. you gotta love the CF (carbon fiber). A second mortgage would be needed for most; Or a character that would buy a high power HD clone.

Where's the CF chin?

I know this one, if you go to the Photo gallery and click on the picture with the down angle view of the blower you can see the braided oil lines running to it!!!

I think that the oil cooler looks cool - no pun intended :) Much better than the horn cover IMHO
