I did a oil change took off my filter and the three oil drain plugs got busy and the next day tighten oil plugs and put oil filter on, so it really drained
I put 4 litres in then started up for a bit, and they say it will take almost one more liter, well I end up putting it all in so I got 5 litres .
I have the digital oil dipstick and the oil only goes to the first mark the bikes is all most straight , should the oil go to the second mark on the dip stick? Should I buy another litter and put some more in?

From memory, I think the oil capacity is a tad over 5 litres.. 5.4 ltrs (Oil change with a filter) or 5.1 ltrs (Oil Only) to be more exact.
Personally, I like to know that my bikes are spot on with their oil levels otherwise it will always be a guess if you are using any or not!
So I would buy another litre and top her up! Keep the rest for the next change.

I hope this answers your question

.. I should have added that it is a total of 5.9 litres including filter for a dry fill...
Grab a litre & it will see you clear!

Cheers

thanks Rocketman1969, Paul phoned me up and straighten me up
It's funny I was at the dealers and they told me to buy the four litres and one litre said I won't need to use all of the liter.
So seems like I need to buy another litre and should take a half .
I guess they don't fully drain it.

I drop mine change the filter put 5 liters in her start it up for a wee bit . The add the 6th liter and down the road I go. I pull the stick every now and then to make sure there is oil on it but mostly to see how clean the oil is since my bike is not allowed to use oil. I change oil between 4000 and 5000 miles depending on the feel of the clutch and transmission. Been using Red Line 20W50 and liking it so far.

Im glad you are all sorted!
.. using the prescribed amount of oil is crucial.

I am pretty anal with all of my bikes & cars... I am not a fan of "close enough is good enough".

I use 6 quarts & a new filter.
No such thing as knowing "exact" oil levels when you ride a dry-sump engine.
I have two and they are always an educated guess at best.

Oil level on a dry sump motor is not that critical. If it is on the stick it is good. A little under or over won't matter one bit, but I guess it is something people need to worry about for some reason.
