Off For Some Surgery.....

CONGRATS on the new "service", Tony!!!
Bet you are totally stoked . . . heck, I'm stoked for you thinking what it'd be like on my motor!!! :D

Mate, well done. If your cams are like mine wait until you feel the pull from 6k to 7.5k. you'd swear you are WOT'ing it with the clutch in...it's phukin addictive mate.

1 word of advice if I may...before you spend money on brakes, consider the wheels. I have not had any issues with brakes running the stockies. I have changed out the pads, put higher temp fluid in and upgraded the lines but the rotors and cylinders are stocks on mine and she has plenty of bite. Conversely, the lower profile tyre, lower rolling resistance and unsprung weight of the wheels and tyre combo, a)really change handling, acceleration and braking IMO, b) helps with top speed too.

but you wont get as big a bang for your buck as pete raves about, saying the wheels are a comparative to the work you've done is a bit like saying he bought new runners, now he's taller than Hanso. Nuf said.

Dunno about that G .. i've had my rear brake disappear on me twice (once while chasing Bruce through the twisties near Woodenbong .. pretty sure Julie was encouraging him to go faster) .. the other time was through a twisting mountain road as well. Both times i had Catherine on the back ... been a bit wary charging through mountain ranges since then to be honest.

Me too, T.C. Disappeared approaching the Blue Duck up from Omeo, after a - er - spirited game of chasies . Strange feeling! My fault tho - hadn't changed the brake fluid for two years, it boiled. Came good after a 20-minute rest and cool down.

mittzy and mine to compare in case your wondering about ripples its the smoothing setting is 5 on mittzy while is on 2
