NRCMCC show and shine

Great photos - thanks for sharing.
Not my photo's. They belong to a bloke I met through our mutual enjoyment of photographing old cars and bikes. He has given me a lot of advice and help with getting better results. If you google Holty's Photos or do a search for him on Facebook you can look through his albums for hours. He puts everything up and tells everyone they can have whatever they want. He has a few of my photos on there too.

My mum had a Vincent just like that one. She sold it a few years back - to someone in Qld, I believe.

A story from a WA paper in 1981. John Holt is the one kneeling down in the front. They rode Australia East to West in as straight a line as possible. What an adventure that would be. Apart from satellite phones and better dirt bikes that trip would be much the same today.

Be a f#ckin long trip on a dirter. Met a young English couple in Albany a few years ago .. riding a 400cc Honda .. they were heading across ... two up. Thought to myself "f#ckin better you than me" poor buggers.

Didn't know BSA made a side valve V-Twin.
COOL!
