I hope me r3,s Alright. Dreamworld has been evacuated first time ever that I can remember. The area to the north and east which is heavily treed is engulfed in fire it does not look good. I have my bike where my truck is parked on 10 acres just north of dreamworld. Are well fingers crossed

Saw the smoke from the city .. wondered what was burning , looked like bush.
 
Brittle dry around here ..I've even stopped flicking cigarette butts out the ute window.... true.

Dry as bone here too trees a green but ground cover is very dry we have been lucky so far no fire to close but we are not that far a lot of dense forest and it would only take one careless twit flicking a cigarette out the window, got me beat why people can't use their ashtrays in their cars any time of year, sorry bit it is a pet hate of mine since I was the recipient of a an flicked cig/but by a careless twit back in the seventies it hit the front of bike and showered me in red hot ash, driver reckoned he didn't see any body behind him after he stop at intersection and I gave him a dressing down, no excuse I told him
For the record I once smoked too but always used the ashtray in car

We back onto bushland and its always a worry school holiday time when it is so dry as the tree huggers wont allow any burning to get rid of the fuel on the ground...........and thanks for the call yesterday......always good to have a chat with you
