New rocket 3 roadster owner, first ride impressions

Welcome from the UK, I picked mine up in April done in excess of 3000 miles already. My doctor commented on my facial dis figuration since I bought the bike and is confused, he has never seen anything like it, I offered to take him out on the bike to enrich his medical knowledge so that he would recognise the symptoms next time he sees them.;)

Welcome. Hang onto the Daytona...you will need a ride while you are modding the Rocket. Enjoy!

Welcome to the site from New Jersey, Keybearer!

Yes, toying with sport bikes is a distinctly pleasurable side benefit some of enjoy with these Beasts, especially after goosing up our motors a bit!

Hmmmm, a warden (or locksmith) in Hawaii... sounds like there might be a few stories related to your vocation!!!

Welcome from West Michigan ! We don't have 365 riding but the grin pretty much lasts all winter !
I think the grin is a permanent feature. I go into the garage everyday to get my push bike for work and leave with a grin. After work the grin is reinstated when I put the push bike away. If the weather'a good big bugger comes out and the grin splits my face wide!!!!:):D:p:roll:

Welcome to the Forum from Sunny South Florida (though not so much lately) Your experience with the Harley has been repeated countless times by our members - even on less powerful R3Ts. It NEVER gets old and is always fun.

Welcome, and congrats. Yeah, it's crazy with these bikes, you start out with more torque than just about any other bike out there and nobody needs more power than they have, and yet somehow it never seems to be enough. Just knowing that forking over another 4 or so grand will land you in the promised land of 210+ horsepower makes it incredibly hard to resist, or indeed going to 6 grand and 240+... without any potentially finicky turbos or blowers.
