They were taken over by the RR correct? Was the Roadster a completely new bike or was it a Classic with a few cosmetic changes:confused::confused::confused:.

Not a Classic but a Standard with a few changes. Main changes were riding position (pegs back and lower), choice of black or black (yawn), ABS (yay), 2 big goofy feet for exhausts, built in gear indicator, fuel gauge (I think) and claimed increase in power (which was not borne out in fact).

Had a different seat as well.

the roadster to me looks just right except for the two fat ugly mufflers. i am condisidering a new roadster, but that would have to be dealt with. has anybody yanked those stupid looking things off yet? and replaced with what? talking about mufflers only. i wouldnt want a complete system. too expensive, too noisey. i guess i could get used to them. the original r3 mufflers while nothing special, look a **** site better. one mans opinion

Malcy has these or something similar on his R3R. Look and sound great.
Roadster Exhaust for the Triumph Rocket III Roadster

Th pipe looks a lot better then the standard OEM water heaters. But neither create Horse power. there is only three choices Jardines, Carpenter Racing, and the one made down under which for the life of me I can not think of the name. Let me take in some more corn :D

Ah there we go Reband from Oz :)
