New Exhaust

I've got to ask again. What's with the springs on the Carpenter exhaust?

Huge difference. Great exhaust note. I heard one up close only once. A guy was driving onto the Bremerton Navy Shipyard and the gate guard was giving him a bit of grief over it. Pretty loud.

Springs holding exhaust together is a hold out from racing. If a section is dented or needs replaced, they don't have to replace the whole thing, just a portion.

Also reduces manufacturing costs, they don't have to pay someone like @sonny wages.

Which is fine on a race track where the over all mileage is low.
But try doing 15000 miles with a sprung loaded set up and all the bits will vibrate, move around and wear.
Especially where the Stainless header attaches to the Alloy plate.
