I need a rear tire for a R3T. Any Condition, Any Brand. Size is 180/70/16.
I replaced my rear tire with a car tire, then ran over a nail with my front tire...
I figured since I was supposed to be getting free tires under the recall, I coud just go ahead and get them and replace the front and keep the back tire.... Well, Triumph and Bridgestone are requiring that they receive a front and back tire for every set they replace. My dealership told them that I had already replaced the tire and they said just send in whatever I replaced it with... My dealer already ordered the new tires and he has to send them 2 tires back (I have to provide the tires and they're not getting my Goodyear)... Anyone wanna hook me up with a used 180/70/16? I will pay shipping... Or, if anyone wants to ship me a used tire, I can ship them the new back tire... Something can be worked out... Or if anyone knows somewhere they can get an old tire... like I said, condition does not matter. Thanks for the help

JD my good man lets start using the old McNoggin(head) call your local bike shops and ask if they have an old tyre lying around.
#2 You work at a sheriff office get one of the sheriff's to arrest a biker with the same size tyre that you need then steal the tyre while the bike is impounded, see how simple it is.

already calling around, just looking at all available options. Thanks
unfortunately, all impounded vehicles go to a locked up impound lot.. dangit.

I don't have a tire however you can try these guys out. Two Brothers Tires - Lawrenceville Georgia
They installed a new rear tire for me a couple months ago and may still have the old one.

Good luck

Thanks.
They told me to call back Saturday and talk to Ernie, one of the owneres.
They aren't supposed to sell used motorcycle tires, but maybe one of the owners can help me out.

where are you located. I have a metzler rear with a plug in it. I'm getting the new tire put on wednesday... If you're in the Tri-state area around NYC you can have it. My guess is you can find a cheaper one locally vs mailing this bugger.

cheers

they replaced both my tires last week and a guy from Bridgestone sent me a check for the rear tire I replaced before the recall. His name was Adam Kempf and his email is:

kaempfadam@bfusa.com

My Avon had 2500 miles on it and I was glad to give it up for full reimbursement. If you still want to look around check out the Valkyrie Road Riders site as the old Valkyries had the same size tire.

yeah, I talked to him when the recall first came out... I musta caught him on a bad day, 'cause he was a real prick... Really pissed me off... to the point where I may have said some innappropriate things and hung up.... No, I don't remember what he said, but it pissed me off pretty good, I do remember that.
