My pipes are coming Home

Photo about 30 minutes after I stopped a 130mm artillery shell blast with my face from 8 feet :). I don’t recommend it as a hobby!

I’ve been looking for the pic for 14 years, a buddy finally posted it last week.
So after 14 years do you better or worse?:p:p:p:p:p:p

Less puffy, less scratching, more age same/same lol.

Two days after that photo my eyes looked like this, and I’m one of those people who just don’t bruise pretty much ever.

Am curious why you did't use that exhaust header builder/coater in NC. I believe they use same process as the coaters that Paul Bryant uses.

And I thought this was tough, a bee sting right between the eyes.
I had about 50 miles to ride home at the point I got stung, only just made it before both eyes closed up completely

That doesn’t look like it was a fun day, honestly it probably hurt worse too! I had the benefit of a life altering adrenaline dump to make the pain go away, It’s truly amazing what the human body can do when pushed to the limits!!

KOd for about a half second, came to pissed as a wet hornet and started barking orders with blood flying out of my mouth with every word. Still amazed at how coherent and calm I was able to stay given the scenario. Hilariously I remember thinking how grateful I was that I got hit and not one of my Soldiers.

Aah the idiocy of youth lol.
