My current build

Wondered where you had got to Chuck .. Speedy doesn't look all that different to stock to me , in those photos anyway. Love the look of Griso's too. Had one for a couple of hours on a demo ride down in Melbourne .. took it up the Black Spur .. enjoyed it but had experience with Guzzi parts availability and prices in the past , even worse than Triumph

The Speedy pics are before the major surgery so you can see what I am working with. I have a ways to go with it yet I just wanted to see what other R3 owners thought about my plan.

Ok ... :D please keep us updated , sounds really interesting what you've got planned for the Speedy.

I got it together and working pretty good but the bike is just to **** small to be fun for me since I am 6'4" and 345lbs which I am working on but even if I would hit my goal of 250lbs I still think I would want a bike that isn't built for little people. I decided last winter to build the S3 into a Griso/Diavel type bike by putting a longer rear suspension to extend the wheelbase about 4" and building a tail section to move the seat rearwards 3" and down 2" and decreasing the angle of the seat to stop me from sliding into the tank constantly.

Nice to see someone else my size riding these bikes....I am just an inch taller:cool:
