Maintenance required?

Two quick questions. I get a thumping noise in the front brake pad area when rolling slowly forward or rearwards and applying front brakes? It is only noticed when engine is off. Second question: When turning on the ignition (without starting) there is a constant buzz sound around throttle bodies, similar to what the 1st generation Rocket sounds when the secondary tps is out of adjustment? If you guys have the same noises, I'll ride with it, if not, to the dealer it goes.

Point 1: as I don't know it, I can't judge it - but when I don't hear it while riding, I don't care...
Point 2: that's normal - my SCRAMBLER is even louder. Pull the throttle - it will even change the frequency...

If the "thumping" is a slight click or thud, keep in mind that the rotors on the bike are of the floating variety, so they have some back and forward play.
