My bike has been in the shop for over a month now waiting for parts to fix the problem with my loose shifter. I am wondering if anyone else has had this problem with their Rockets?

Happened to me last Nov. It took them over a month and they ^%@$#! up my bike. A major portion of the bike has to be taken apart, just to replace a bolt. Hopefully nothing else was damaged by the loose bolt. I finally had to take it to a second dealer to correct the issues created by the disasembly. I hope you have better luck right off the bat. The bike runs great now. 2000 miles and just breaking in.

Is yours a 2006 also?

My Bike is a 2005. It has the grey powdercoated engine rather than the black. I never realized there was an issue with the shifter until I took it to the shop to get my new Zard exhaust and triple K&N's installed. The bike tech discovered it riding the bike into the shop. I am quite concerned that they don't break something else while fixing the bolt issue. It has been there since April 10th and I am sure it won't be done until next month as they have to order more parts.

Strange how Triumph deny problems
but when they open a bike up, they replace parts unrelated to the
original fault.
