We have family on my wife's side in Madison. Interesting how fast they through out the Dawgs and began to Roll with the Tide!
I think I found a bike, but it is in Virginia. Appears to be a decent price, a little below NADA. The mileage is so low I find it hard to believe! I just have to decide (and sell the
'05 VTX 1300 and '82 KZ1000 - only so much room in the garage). Anyway, I'll run a VIN check to make sure its legit.
Some folks are motivated sellers depending on the circumstances. If it looks promising, post some details on here if you have any questions. Lots of folks will chime in to help you make a knowledgeable decision .
My mother lives in Madison, which is just a hop and a skip from us. This area is one of The Souths best kept secrets. We like it but it has gotten more crowded over the last 20 years. We recently just moved further out in the county to get a few acres around us but we are still fairly close to town.
Savannah is popular for weddings, especially in the spring. But in fall you have a few colors and its been warm around here so some flowers are still around.
, I was however on a cruise ship a few years back, there was a large group, both in numbers and size, it was the Paula Dean and friends cruise.....the top deck of the ship in the morning looked like a nascar track with all her friends with their scooters, quite the sight. Good luck on your new ride.
Welcome from Canada, we have no choice in the matter here, winter has come.
Its a 2015 R3 Touring. I found it at a dealer online. Too far away to test drive. The local Triumph dealer doesn't stock Rockets or Tbirds any more. They mainly have ****** rockets, dirt bikes and four wheelers. And, they were reluctant to set up test drives. In fact, I was wanting to take my 05 VTX 1300R for some work. I was told they didn't work on vintage bikes - BTW they are a Honda dealer, too. Great - have wrenches will turn!
Welcome Dave, I just spent my first summer on my 2015 R3T. You will love it. The bike is good to go out of the dealership, but there are some mods I have made that are documented on this site, in the media area, and on YouTube. There are those on this site that take things to the extreme as far as power and performance. It is addicting.
Welcome from Minden Nevada. I found my R3T while looking at an Indian. The beast only had 2000 miles on it. I think it's just too much bike for some people as the Original owner traded it in on a new Indian Chief. On my original test ride I was hooked but felt like she was being held back. I was right. a tune from Hanso fixed her right up. I have been on a lot of forums and this is the only one I've found who will like you for you regardless of what you ride.
A belated WELCOME to ya, Dave, from WA State!
Just returned from a Rocket adventure in Leakey, TX with some other very kewl and fun captains!
GO ROADSTER!
