longer range cruising needs...

6th or OD would be nice, but I've never noticed and vibrations and my standard highway cruising speed in Germany was 100 mph.
For the flyscreen, use some longer spacers for the top two golds and you'll find it should deflect air over your helmet instead of on the chin.
Highway legs = comfort. Just cause you have stretching options.
Have a Corbin solo and dual. No soreness at all after a very long day.

Unfortunately, your capable touring machine is missing an extra cylinder and all the fun that comes with it, Outlaw.;)

It is relatively impossible to turn a goose into an eagle and vice versa.

I have made several long distance trips on my 14 R3R, and I have done everything you have talked about! Except the 6th gear of course. I have the Corbin seat with detachable back rest, that goes on for trips. I have the highway pegs, larger roadster screen and ISO grips. I have no problem running comfortable as the HD Ultra classics I run with. I do wish there was a 6 th gear, or taller 5th gear just for the gas. However min was getting nearly 37mpg running 75-&0 mph. That was pretty close to all my other riders with 6 gears.
I have the Corbin solo seat that is good for about a 100 mile ride. Which Corbin do you have? And what are the ISO grips?

I have the factory two up seat and the Corbin Fast Gun solo seat. Both seats are good for a few hours but after that I get pretty uncomfortable. The Corbin Tour looks like a comfortable long distance seat. How many hours/ miles have you ridden on the Corbin Solo?

I have the Corbin Fastgun for a solo. No issues at all. Normal long day in the saddle is 5-600. I've stretched it to 800 a few times, but that takes it toll on my arms/shoulders/neck more than anything.
The ISO grips he's referring to are padded? Aftermarket grips a lot of guys use to take out vibration on the hands

FWIW -
My Roadster has been across the country twice, first on a 11,500 mile trip and then on a 6,400 miler.
My seat and pegs were stock; however I consistently used my engine guard pegs on the open road.
I averaged 300+ miles per day for the whole trips, even with several days off riding.
I DO know what a sore butt is! At each gas refill I do a short walk around and stretch which helps me out a lot.
Everybody has a different butt and pain threshold, so comparing same seats to different butts is rather futile IMHO.
I usually cruise at 80 to 85 mph and have had NO vibration problems.
Would NEVER do a long trip with a small screen, only the standard screen.
I believe a 6th gear would be useless, My 4th gear already out performs 5th gear! 3,000 rpm at 80 mph is great and less than half the rpm range!
Now that I have mounted Standard boards and use the beads on the seat, I can't wait for my next long ride, perhaps Seattle to Maine next year!

The Corbin Dual Tour is pretty good. Best of the line of stock solo, Triumph Dual, Rick Meyer customized Triumph Dual, etc. seats that I've tried.

The best addition has been the Beadrider beads. It raises the seat about 3/4 in and lets air circulate which prevents monkey butt.
