Loaning out your Rocket

I took my new bike back to have the TPS adjusted two days after I bought it. The service manager told one of his writers to bring my bike into their shop in the back. This fellow is about 5'5" tall and turned back to his boss and said, "Uhmm, you do know it's a Rocket right? I don't feel comfortable bringing it around back". I almost spit my coffee out hearing that. But then again, he isn't a mechanic and evidently not an avid rider. I salute him for knowing his limitations.

He rides a B-King?
Holy $hit, wish I had one of those . . . er . . . OK - well then, I wish I could yet bend enough at the joints to ride one of those for more than just around the block!
B-kings can be fun:D

Won't be long now Scott, ' Pony" will be running. Pedro and I are waiting for you to get here.... There's a spare '13 roadster in the shed. Got your name on it

Warpo,
That thing is AWESOME!
With the turbo, likely unbelievable power similar to the Ghost Rider Busa???
Perhaps even grease the Millenium Falcon in a quarter???

Could be you never know. I never claimed to the best in the quarter I like riding above 150 so it would be nice to see him hold on to it in a mile drag. Sure looked cool though with the twin turbos even though its kind of a ugly bike. Make the Rocket look a lot more apeeling if you ask me. :D

Never ridden a supercharger - have ridden a few turbo Kaws,
Does a supercharger come on similar to a turbo or quicker?
Is there a difference in the feel?

It's not lending when it's another Rocket owner. It's sharing.

That's a great point!

I'd trust mine to another Captain; but never to anyone else.

If they haven't successfully gained their own R3 experience; they just have no frame of reference for what they're about to get into.

Rick
