Loaning out your Rocket

Never ridden a supercharger - have ridden a few turbo Kaws,
Does a supercharger come on similar to a turbo or quicker?
Is there a difference in the feel?

been years since i rode either a turbo or blower bike, but the difference was pretty noticeable - a supercharger just made it feel like a fast bike with a mostly normal powerband, a turbo made a 4 stroke feel like a 2 stroke... the power delivery was the difference because of the lag getting the turbo spinning and you needed to be up in the rev band to have it spin fast enough to do its magic... i'm going to guess that turbo development has made some strides (just like in cars - my pt turbo is very much improved from earlier chrysler efforts), but you still have to pass gas to spin the thing up vs a supercharger that's hooked to the crankshaft...

go see if the chevy dealer will let you take a blower 'vette or camaro for a ride...

Thanks - that makes sense to me.
A blower is best - preferably a female one at that.
