Lithium Battery Woes

6 months ago I bought a Lithium Hub Iconic battery and charger for my 2015 Rocket Roadster, ABS. $156.00, huge bargain to me. It has performed without a problem until this morning. Backed out of the garage and it would not start, no ignition, no power. After calling my biker buds and telling them I would not make our weekly 200 + mile ride around San Diego County I eventually figured out the Ionic lithium battery was the problem.

I am looking for a replacement lithium battery and hoping folks here have alternate suggestions for a better, more reliable lithium brand than Lithium Hub Iconic battery. Their so-called "support" is the worst I have every encountered. I liked all their numerous features... battery management, iPhone app, 10 year warranty, etc., but bottom line is they make it nearly impossible to jump every hoop and hurdle to get warranty coverage. No effort whatsoever to help a customer with a problem. Disgusting. Anyway, appreciate any brand suggestions you may have, CHEERS!

With the first gen. Rockets, I think you have more room. And can fit this bad boy.

I bought this one for my 2024 GT. Less room on the new Rockets.

Ironically they are the battery company I wanted to deal with when I first started shopping for a lithium battery. I can't remember exactly why I decided to pass on them but know they told me they did not have a battery with the features I wanted that would be appropriate for my '15 Roadster. I will go back to their Web Site and have another look. I think the problem with "fitment" may have been my desire for a battery with "BMS"(a battery management system)that reduced or eliminates the possibility of a run away lithium type fire. Something along those lines was an issue. I will check them out again. Thanks Kevin.

I got it. Not surprised post was taken care of . That ionic company is in brazil and offering great prices but anti gravity makes theres there and they represent many race teams in all powersports. Unbelievable battery, its been abused for sure and it holds.
