I had recently purchased a number plate relocation bracket
the kind that just lifts it a little and pulls the indicators in .
I noticed it was alot weaker than the triumph bracket when i first purchased it
and well today it snapped and my bracket indicaters and licence plate all got jamed up between my wheel and rear gaurd causing a a small amount of damage to the bottom edge of the gaurd.

I will fix it and touch it up myself and probably put one of those chrome rear gaurd covers over it.
i will not be buying that same bracket again instead i want the kind that mounts onto the rear gaurd above the tail light.

could one of u kind people point me in the rite direction of where to get a desent one
i have seen a few rockets around with them .

Mitch.
They shouldn't be too hard to find. I reckon what your after would be pretty similar to what you would find as a custom fit for a Hardley Dribbleson.

Was going to buy one of the tail tidy type brackets awhile ago but thought that the price of around $75 plus postage was a bit steep for a bit of pressed sheetmetal painted black so I ended up re-hashing my original bracket and moved the indicator mounts in closer to about what the aftermarket one was.

Good luck with your search. Hope the damage is easily covered up.

This might fix your rear guard stuff up in an instant.

If you go check out his blog on the Rat's cafe site you're on you'll find a promo link for free postage as well.

Cheers.

I think i might modify the standard one and get my gaurd fixed and resprayed .

unfortunatly im gonna have to shell out for another set of rear silver bullets one got scratched up.

ill never be using that flimsy ****ty rivco bracket again

If you want to go that way then I'll send you some pics and measurements as to what I ended up doing with mine if it helps, but it's not Rocket science.

Don't ditch the Rivco bracket mate , i used a modified Rivco to mount my indicators.. check it out on Saturday ;)

The rivco one is mangled mate it got jammed between my wheel and gaurd

i have no indicators at the moment and one of the hollow bolts that mount my kuryayakyn silver bullets got lost so ill be scanning the hd shops that stock them tomorrow and hopefully get her wired up atleast.
not sure im gonna make it saturday becoase now im going to have to shell out for my rear gaurd to be straightened out and resprayed and two new silver bullets for the rear i cant claim insurance cos my excess is $1000 due to previous claims and my five year old is starting school in a few weeks and needs all the books uniforms and the bullcrap that goes with it so i think my bike is going to be shedbound till i sort it all out.

its been an expensive day all due to a flimsy piece of rivco rubbish
