You opened the secondary's or simulated by reaching down in there and rotated the secondary shaft so the butterflies were opened completely before you inserted the Secondary TPS in the dotted line position as per the manual then while holding the secondaries open you rotated it to the position when the bolt would go in?
Just checking s I think this operation is where it winds or unwinds the spring inside it.
Not to confuse me your holding the secondary TPS sensor aren't you ( I ask because now you asking for the primary TPS part number) and from your picture I can only see one side of it the left side looks blurry or like something is a muck can your rotate the angle a wee bit?
I never dealt with Bike bandit so I can not say to how updated their parts diagrams are. I usually use Hermy"s Triumph to chase down part numbers
for instance
Not sure how they overcome it as I do not know anyone. Maybe they just live with the code. I have 62,000 miles on one of my secondary TPS sensors and it has never failed. In fact the only secondary TPS problems I have read about are people who for some reason pull it and do not re-install it properly. This makes two that I am aware of.
