That's gotta be a joke. The Moki Dugway is not dangerous at all IMO. With all the crazies hooning the Dragon, I can understand its rating. If one likes the Moki as I do, the Shafer Trail near Moab is a must.

BTW - I have also ridden all three. I rode the Red Mountain again just this past June.
There was lots of construction, dirt and small rocks. It was way more treacherous than the Moki Dugway.
You are in control on the dirt/gravel and traffic is usually not an issue. I also agree that, because of all the traffic, statistically the Dragon (not fanging) would require less skill, be less difficult, but more dangerous.
